Collection: Our process
INSPIRATION
Explore our house collection for inspiration, and contact us for a quotation once you have found the perfect design for your special day. Simply fill in the enquiry form outlining the collection you are interested in, and which pieces of stationery you need.
Alternately, request a bespoke design where we will explore and discuss your ideas in detail, bringing them to life. We can work to any colour scheme and theme so that your wedding is a true reflection of your individuality as a couple.
QUOTATION
We will then provide a written quotation based on your requirements for each item of stationery, and answer any questions you have at this stage.
BOOKING
Once approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order for us to commence work.
We will now need your wording and details of all personalised information including names, venue, date and colour choices for both print and cardstock. Please note our collection designs are customisable for both print and card colour, and you can mix and match across different pieces of stationery. Many examples of beautifully contrasting colour schemes are shown in the collection images. The typeface is set within the collection designs, but we are happy to use something similar as long as it is licensed for commercial use.

DESIGN
Once you are booked in and we have received all necessary wording we can commence the design process. Proofs will be sent within 3-5 working days as PDF document(s).
At this point, it’s recommended that you fully check the proofs before approval, with a second person to double check all information fully before sending confirmation to us. Once proof approval has been received and we have gone to print, Expressive Weddings cannot accept responsibility for any errors, omissions or reprint costs.
We will of course make any minor amends as necessary up to approval.
Once you are happy and have signed off everything, we will request the final payment before moving to print production. Each individual stationery order will vary in timescales depending on the complexity of the design and special finishes required, particularly if we need to make bespoke plates for foil blocking or embossing as these are custom made once we have the wording. The set up fee is included in the quotation.
Turnaround is usually 2-3 weeks, but we will advise you of an estimated date as this can be subject to change in extremely busy periods.
For this reason, we do only commission a maximum number of projects at any given time to ensure we give your beautiful stationery our undivided attention.
Every individual item is printed and packaged by us in the studio, we do not use any third parties.
DELIVERY
As each stationery set is extremely important, we only ship using special delivery so everything is fully tracked. As a guide and depending on weight/quantity of items needed the cost is around £15 within the UK. Your order will require a signature, and we will always advise you of the shipping date to ensure someone is able to take delivery.
